Pumpkin carving nite! Ashley and Hannah were very excited to help John make a pig pumkin. We didn't want to do anything that would scare them. Ashley actually recognied it as a pig!
I learned something very important about pumkins, or maybe we just bought a bad one. We carved the pumkin on Wednesday Night. I decided it would make a great table decoration, bad idea. Pumkins need to be outside or they will rot. If your toddler can poke their fingers through the pumkin 3 days later, it is a very bad sign. It was still fun carving the pumpkin and having it around for a few days!

Ashley looks so cute, concentrating so much on cutting the pumpkin. Great carving! And, you're right.....pumpkins don't last long. But it's always fun and messy to play with the soft insides/outsides when they're "overdone."
What a cute idea...a pig pumpkin!
