"Fun at the Phoenix Zoo"

These are some pictures of when we took at trip to the Phoenix Zoo with Joe and Christi and their kids. It was right after a monsoon the night before. It was so hot and muggy, it felt like 115 degrees. Thank goodness for the splash pad at the zoo. We also took them to the gift shop so they could pick out a toy or animal. They all thought that was fun. Ashley tried to pick the biggest and most expensive stuffed animal. It was fun, but way too hot, maybe again in the fall. The kids loved the splash pad. The first trip to the splash pad the older kids had to be coaxed into the water. Hannah just ran all over the place and wore herself out. On the second trip to the splash pad, Hannah was asleep and all of the older kids got themslves soaking wet. It was a great trip.

This was John's favorite picture of Hannah. If you look real closely, you can see both of her feet are off of the ground. She ran all over the splash pad like a crazy nut from one fountain to the next! Needless to say, when it was time to go see all of the animals she did not want to leave.

Ok I was looking everywhere for Ashley's sunglasses the other day thinking we needed to give them back to you. Apparently we already have and I forgot as I can see she's wearing them! LOL.

What a fun day. Kids just love water, don't they? Especially when it surprises you coming up from the ground! You're a good photographer!
