This was our planting project that the girls loved. I have always put off planting flowers or plants cause we're in an apartment and I seem to always kill our plants. I had found some watering cans as toys at Michael's and that was the begining. I thought it would be fun to have them water some plants. Last week while shopping at target for baby stuff, the girls were very fussy and cutting up. My remedy was to take them to the garden section- it was a miracle- they loved it and helped me pick out some flowers to put in the pots. No more fussing- Yeah! Who would have thought that little girls like flowers too!
This is our pots of flowers- they don't look too pretty yet but I can't wait until all of the buds bloom.
These are the yellow daisies that Ashley picked out.
The girls loved watering the plants once they were potted. It was hard to get a picture before all of the water was gone. They just too excited and I had to eventually stop them cause the plants were getting too much water! We all had a lot of fun- I wished I would have done this with them sooner. Hopefully it will be a fun project for the girls to help with and will last all summer long.
This is one of those pictures that looks like I used a soft filter. It was one of my favorite shots, at first I didn't think that it turned out on the view finder. Come to find out, you can achieve this effect if you're lens is a little dirty or smudged. I think it looked pretty cool, now if only I could get my kids to look at the camera- maybe someday.
